Running Sessions

4 or 5 operators can be occupied at running sessions, operating signal boxes and controlling trains. A full timetable is run according to a clock running at enhanced speed. We can still run on wet days - the outside loop has a cover - and in the dark - the outside station has a floodlight!.

Please feel free to bring visiting locomotives or other stock - the track is to Gauge O Guild Fine Standard. A sound system will be in operation and also a train-mounted wireless video camera!

Please e-mail me to say you can come and book your operating slot, and so that I can let you know if I have to cancel at short notice.

In 2007 I will run the timetable in stages on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm but please contact me to check in advance

Sunday 13 July 2003, 3 pm to 6 pm, serenaded by live wind music in the garden!

In 2004 I ran the timetable in stages on the following evenings:

Wednesday 9th June from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 16th June from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 23rd June from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 30th June from 7.30 pm.

No session on 7th July

Wednesday 14th July from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 21st July from 7.30 pm.

No session on 28th July.

Wednesday 4th August from 7.30 pm.

Sunday 7th August 2005, 3 pm to 7 pm, serenaded by live wind music in the garden!

Wednesday 5th July from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 12th July from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 19th July from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 26th July from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 2nd August from 7.30 pm.

Wednesday 9th August from 7.30 pm.

Sunday 20th August 2006, 3 pm to 7 pm, serenaded by live wind music in the garden!

We then ran trains on the first Wednesday of the month into November!
